Real stories. Real voices. Real change.
Since October 7, antisemitism has become increasingly visible including here in New York City. For many Jewish teenagers, navigating it for the first time has felt overwhelming and unsafe.
Stronger Voices was created in response to that silence. Few spaces existed for teens to share what they were experiencing, how it was shaping their sense of identity, or what it felt like to face antisemitism among their own peers and in their schools.
Stronger Voices is an online platform where teens share their experiences with antisemitism and discrimination through interviews and storytelling built on the belief that connection builds courage, and courage builds belonging.
Its goal is simple: help Jewish teens feel less alone, and help others understand what it means to be a Jewish teenager today.
Our Story
Meet Emme
As a first-generation American, Emme grew up hearing her parents’ stories of antisemitism in the former Soviet Union. After October 7, those stories began to feel much closer to home as she watched antisemitism increasingly affect Jewish teens and saw how few spaces existed for them to openly share their experiences.
That realization became the beginning of Stronger Voices.
Through interviews with Jewish teens, advocates, and young leaders, Emme creates space for conversations about antisemitism, identity, pride, and community. She believes teens should not simply be the subjects of conversations about antisemitism they should have a voice in shaping them.
Her parents’ stories taught Emme what can happen when fear and silence become part of everyday life. Through Stronger Voices, she wants to create the opposite: a space where young people can speak openly, share their experiences, and find connection before fear becomes isolation.

Featured Stories
Emme is now working to take Stronger Voices one step further by creating a secure, interactive platform where Jewish teens experiencing antisemitism can connect with others who have faced similar experiences. Her vision is for teens to use what they have learned to support one another, turning personal experiences into connection and support for others.
She is in the early stages of developing this idea, gathering information, understanding the needs of Jewish teens, and connecting with organizations and leaders who can help bring the vision to life.
